Wild Horses

Wild Horses is a one-woman coming-of-age story. A dark comedy about adolescent firsts and self-liberation, the script is tapestry of summertime tales woven with a 1970s soundtrack. Jennifer Coy Jennings plays a woman reflecting on the era between girlhood and womanhood. She's trapped in a dysfunctional family but surrounded by friends whose exploits are both hilarious and poignant, verging at times on harrowing, as they navigate the world of teenage experimentation. Together, they hatch a zany plan to free a herd of horses from captivity, but it's clear the horses are not the only ones longing to escape.
