This 4 session workshop ( 3/7, 3/14, 4/18, 4/25) is only 225.00. It is basically the same training we’ve used with over 65,000 professionals and 40,000 students, including teams at Amazon, Wells Fargo, the Mayor of Charlotte and Duke University. Now we’re excited to offer it to the general public beginning March 7th.
S.M.I.L.E. stands for Self confidence, Motivation, Improv, Listening, and Energy. We use business improv exercises grounded in brain science to help teens build confidence, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. And once they understand why it works, what’s actually happening in their brains during each activity, they buy in. They’re curious; they’re engaged, and they love it. When teens see that this isn’t about performing, it’s about rewiring how they think, respond, and lead, they lean into the process, and the growth takes off.
The adolescent brain is in a critical phase of development especially in the prefrontal cortex, which governs decision making, emotional regulation, and problem solving. This is the neuroplasticity sweet spot for building real world leadership skills. Parents often sign their children up for soccer, piano lessons, or math enrichment as early as age 5 or 6 to give them a head start. But communication, humor, confidence, and leadership? Those are often left to chance. S.M.I.L.E. gives teens a structured way to develop these core life skills right when they need them most. And honestly, humor plays a powerful role in the process not because students are trying to be funny, but because the exercises are designed to generate laughter, trust, and engagement naturally. It’s one of the most powerful tools in a leader’s toolkit. Humor builds likability, opens doors, and helps teens lead with presence.
