We would like to invite you to the Gilchrist Lecture on Saturday, March 28, at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Dr. Heath W. Carter, Associate Professor of American Studies and Director of PhD Studies from Princeton Theological Seminary, will lead us in reflecting on, Blest Be the Tie That Binds? Faithful Witness in Dangerous & Deeply Divided Times, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Carson Fellowship Hall. Dr. Carter is a leading voice in conversations about faith, public life, and how Christian belief has shaped and been shaped by the social, economic, and political currents of American life. He speaks regularly to churches, pastors, and community leaders about what it means to follow Jesus with courage, clarity, and compassion in complex cultural moments. His work challenges the Church not to retreat from the public square, but to embody a Christ-centered witness marked by humility, justice, and love of neighbor.
