Legendary brass musicians blow away cancer in the Windy City!
For the first time, CancerBlows comes to Chicago bringing its signature brand of music and hope raising money for cancer research through a special one-night concert event at Buddy Guy’s Legends Blues Club on December 18th.
The night features trumpet stars Wayne Bergeron, known for his movie soundtracks and scores including LaLa Land and The Incredibles and Jens Lindemann, a Royal Order of Canada recipient and former member of Canadian Brass, with Brass IMPACT! and some surprise special guests.
Tickets include two drinks and passed bar food. This event is 21+ only.
Started ten years ago by trumpeter Ryan Anthony after he was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a terminal cancer of the blood and bone marrow, CancerBlows has raised over two million dollars for research and patient support programs through unique concert events held in cities around the United States including Dallas, TX; Memphis, TN and Cleveland, OH.
Ryan lost his battle with cancer in 2020 but the mission and the music continue in his memory, carried on by his wife, Niki Anthony and a dedicated team of volunteers.
Tickets, sponsorships and more information are available at cancerblows.com.
