National Small Business Week: Shop the Block Crawl

Center for Changing Lives will be hosting its first ever, National Small Business Week: Shop the Block Business Crawl! This free-to-participate event was created as a way to support our local northwest side small business owners here after being heavily impacted by ongoing federal operations that has led to decreased foot traffic in the community and rising costs as a result of tariffs impacting product pricing. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: 1.) Community members, such as yourselves, are invited to pick up a free business passport from Center for Changing Lives or one of our participating pickup location partners during their hours of operation starting 4/27/26 (See Attached Map). 2.) Starting National Small Business Week (5/3/26-5/10/26), community members that shop at at least 3 businesses during the week can then redeem their business passports for a free, custom poster designed by a local artist; community members that shop at more than 3 businesses will then have their names added into a raffle for each additional business they shop at for a chance to win gift cards from participating businesses. 3.) Passports can only be redeemed at Center for Changing Lives. Let's uplift our local small business community together!
