We are the longest running cold-reading series in the United States! We are in our 35th year!
Every Tuesday night, writers, actors and musicians gather at Chicago Dramatists to test new material in front of a live audience. Actors are cast from the audience!
If you are an actor and would like to be considered for reading, show up between 8:15-8:30 and let us know! You do NOT need to bring a headshot or resumé. Casting begins at 8:30 and we'll let you know if you are cast. Readings begin at 9:00. Event is over at approximately 10:30 p.m.
In the middle of the event, we feature a musician who shares 10 minutes of their original music.
This popular event is free and everyone is welcome.
