All proceeds go to paying musicians and sustaining our music programing. Thank you for your support! This performance will take place in our side yard weather permitting! The Singleman Affair has been the musical folk reverie of Daniel Schneider for over the last two decades. Weaving lonesome troubadour folk ballads alongside chaotic psychedelic out-forms, this acoustic downer folk now finds itself washed out in surrealism and multidimensional Kodachrome reels. The band returns to Compound Yellow featuring an all acoustic lineup embracing the beautiful outdoor space, a fantasmic hidden garden midsummer night's escape... He has musically supported other writers over the years including Fran, Ryley Walker, and many, many more. He has also worked extensively as a music recording/mixing engineer with these projects and many, many others. Health&Beauty's most recent double LP, "Shame Engine / Blood Pleasure," was released on Wichita Recordings just in time for the COVID-19 pandemic. Noted critic Peter Margasak hailed it as one of the best rock records to emerge from Chicago in its decade. Tonight the Health&Beauty lineup will include Doug McCombs (Tortoise), Quin Kirchner, and Bill Satek (M!nes), performing some of the music Sulpizio has incubated since 2019.
