Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra Opens 2026-2027 Season with Heroes and Villains
From classical to comics and Don Giovanni to Darth Vader
Elmhurst, IL - The Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra will open the 2026 - 2027 season with Heroes and Villains on October 4, 2026 at 3:00PM at the Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church.
This family-friendly concert highlights our favorite helpful heroes and dastardly villains from the stage and the screen. You’ll hear fan-favorite soundtracks by John Williams (Superman, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars) and Alan Silvestri (The Avengers) and EJAE’s “Golden” from the hit TV show KPop Demon Hunters alongside familiar tunes by Mozart and Beethoven.
Make sure to come early to get your photo taken with Darth Vader and Princess Leia starting at 1:45PM in the lobby.

John Williams is one of the best known film composers of all time, with 27 Grammy Awards, and is known for writing the music for over 120 movies including Jaws, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter.
Alan Silvestri's music for Avengers Endgame (2019) received a Grammy nomination for Best Score Soundtrack.
“You Raise Me Up”, Josh Groban’s biggest hit and best known song, was originally written by Irish folk artist Brendan Graham.
The global hit song “Golden” won an Academy Award for Best Original Song and made history as the first K-pop song to win a Grammy Award.
