Houston Meets Chicago: Johnny's Gold Brick Bar Takeover at FRIENDS of FRIENDS
Johnny’s Gold Brick, Houston’s award-winning and pioneering craft cocktail meets dive bar is taking over highly-lauded Chicago cocktail bar FRIENDS of FRIENDS for one-night-only on Monday, May 18 from 6-9 PM.
Fun fact: Tales of The Cocktail Foundation recently named both bars as Spirited Awards® U.S. 2026 Regional Top 10 Honorees: Johnny’s Gold Brick for Best U.S. Bar Team — U.S. Central, and FRIENDS of FRIENDS for Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar — U.S. Central.
Johnny’s Gold Brick plans to bring its highly R&D’d craft cocktails and neighborhood community-driven bar vibes to Chicago’s West Town neighborhood for this pop-up on 5/18, sponsored by Beam Suntory. The event held at FRIENDS of FRIENDS is first come, first served with pay-as-you-go cocktails curated and presented by the Johnny’s Gold Brick bar team.
