Marjorie Book Continuing Education brings teenagers and adults with and without disabilities together for continuing education classes, service learning projects and theatrical productions. Marjorie Book believes that teenagers and adults of various abilities can benefit from coming together for activities of common interest and sharing their gifts and strengths.
Individuals with and without disabilities will perform (4) one-act plays.
"Chairs" by Scott Mullen - Kidnapped and forced to play musical chairs?
"Loose and Missing Teeth" by Laura Lundgren - Experimentation by aliens?
"Blindspot" by Nancy Pahl Gilsenam - Who is qualified to be a social worker?
"Spreading the News" by Lady Gregory - How bad can small town gossip get?
Performances are Friday, April 24 and Thursday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Carson Masonic Lodge, at 218 Ludlow Avenue in Clifton. Parking is available in the rear of the building. Performances will include audio description.
Donations are cheerfully accepted at the door. Recommended donation is $10 - $15.
