Giving Voice Foundation's 'Mimosas for Memories' Fundraiser
Giving Voice Foundation’s annual Mimosas for Memories fundraiser event is set for Saturday April 25, at The Cincinnati Club. This popular brunch experience includes bottomless mimosas, lively entertainment, local retail vendors, high-value auction items, a red-carpet photo booth, a 20-year Pappy Van Winkle bourbon raffle and more!
This fabulous and colorful fundraiser is celebrating its 11th year of broad-reaching impact, aiming to raise funds and awareness to support free local programming for Cincinnati’s aging community. Giving Voice Foundation is working to create a dementia community where no one feels alone. They do this by building connections to support those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia and their care partners.
Event proceeds will fund interactive music and movement programs for local seniors such as Creative Connections, Music in Motion, Brains in Bloom and Dancing to Remember, a ballroom dancing program. Giving Voice also offers writing programs and peer support for caregivers.
This important cause is one that affects nearly every family in America – Alzheimer’s and dementia. About 1 in 9 Americans ages 65 and older has Alzheimer's, and the Tri-state has more than 151,000 individuals either living with dementia or caring for a loved one who does.
“For more than a decade, the Queen City has stood beside us in our mission to support Cincinnati’s aging community through Mimosas for Memories,” said Dr. Christian Gausvik, MD, founder and board president of the Giving Voice Foundation. “This event is more than a fundraiser. It’s a testament to the unwavering commitment of a community that refuses to let families face Alzheimer’s or dementia alone. Because of your continued support, we are not only sustaining our impact, but expanding it, ensuring even more no-cost programs are available to individuals living with memory loss and the caregivers who walk alongside them.”
The organization has raised more than $560,000 through its annual Mimosas for Memories event to fund no-cost programming for local families and caregivers supporting those living with memory loss. This year, the foundation is aiming to raise $159,000 through the popular event.

Anyone can participate in the silent auction and purchase raffle tickets to win the highly coveted Pappy bourbon bottle raffle. Raffle tickets are $10 each or three for $25. You do not have to be present at the event to win!
Mimosas for Memories is set for Saturday, April 25 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Cincinnati Club. VIP ticketholders will receive early entry and a seated brunch at 10:30 a.m.
Early Bird tickets are available now until March 25 at the discounted rates of $95 for general admission and $140 for VIP. After March 25, general admission tickets will be $125 and $170 for VIP. Discounted bundle packages and sponsorship opportunities are available upon request.
The event will be emceed by beloved TV anchor, Megan Mitchell of WLWT News 5, with music by popular local DJ, JonJon Curl, host of “JonJon & Friends” on iHeart Radio’s KISS107 FM.
