Essex Studios Spring 2026 Artwalk New Weekend Dates in May! Now on May 8th & 9th, Friday & Saturday Nights, 6 - 10 PM both nights Where: Essex Studios Building (Artist Colony) 2511 Essex Place Cincinnati, Ohio 45206 Essex Studios is excited to announce the dates for our first Art Walk of 2026 and we're switching things up a bit. The Artwalk under the theme "Art in Motion" will happen the second weekend in May, Friday the 8th & Saturday the 9th 6-10 PM both nights. Now you can enjoy the Flying Pig Marathon & Kentucky Derby the first weekend in May and get a full week of rest before the Essex Studios Spring Art Walk. Celebrate Spring Artwalk by visiting over 40 Essex artist studios open for behind-the-scenes tours of their workspaces and work. Also see the work of 40 guest artists. It's a great opportunity to meet the artists and pick up unique one of a kind art and gifts for your collection, home, business or friends. Party with 100's of other art lovers! Our Artwalk Theme "Art in Motion" is a homage to the art of DANCE and the great artists that have and do capture dance in their art. Our Art Contest entries will also incorporate "Art in Motion". Live dance performances will occur throughout the building! Enjoy live musicians on the 1st floor Bill Johnson, Dr.J and 2nd floor Preston Bell Charles III, and special guest artist from Charleston, SC Jeff Goller!
