Movin' for Inclusion 4K Walk


All walkers will meet for this delightful stroller, wheelchair and dog friendly 4K walk beginning at the Maple Knoll Village Center and winding through the arboretum and other sections at Maple Knoll. We can provide wheelchairs for those who may need them. Water and bananas will also be available. On-site registration begins at 8:15 a.m. on August 1; the Walk begins at 8:45 a.m. A minimum donation of $15 is requested of each walker, although participants are encouraged to use this event to raise $50 and awareness of the mission of Marjorie Book Continuing Education. Donations can be brough in person on Walk Day, donated via PayPal or Venmo, or mailed. GPS users: The 11100 Springfield Pike address will get you in the vicinity of the Maple Knoll campus. From Springfield Pike, turn on to the main entrance onto Maple Trace, and then turn right at second stop sign on Rock Maple Drive. Be sure to head to the Village Center, not the Welcome Center For 33 years Marjorie Book Continuing Education has brought individuals with and without disabilities together for service projects, continuing education classes on a variety of subjects, and theatrical performances. Marjorie Book believes that teenagers and adults of various abilities can benefit from coming together for activities of common interest and sharing their gifts and strengths.
