ROYAL Theatre Company Presents Disney's Newsies

Bursting with heart, humor, and electrifying choreography, Disney's Newsies is a thrilling celebration of resilience and the power of standing together for what’s right. The four performances of Disney’s Newsies will be: Friday, June 5th at 7:00 PM; Saturday, June 6th at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM; and Sunday, June 7th at 2:00 PM. VIP reserved seating tickets can be purchased for any show for $28 each, while supplies last, and general admission reserved seating tickets for any show can be purchased for $18 each. All tickets can be purchased online beginning April 27th at ROYALTheatreCompany.com and at the door starting one hour before each show. Set in turn-of-the-century New York City, Disney’s Newsies is a high-energy Broadway musical inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899. Charismatic newspaper seller Jack Kelly dreams of a better life beyond the hardships of the streets. But when powerful publishing giants raise newspaper prices at the expense of the newsboys who sell them, Jack and his fellow “newsies” decide to fight back. Rallying together in an unprecedented strike, the young workers stand up to corporate greed, discovering the strength of unity, friendship, and the power of their own voices.
