People Working Cooperatively’s Annual Repair Affair
Repair Affair is an annual spring volunteer event where individuals and small groups get to pull out their home repair skills to provide important home maintenance services to low-income seniors and people with disabilities in the community. While the main volunteer event day takes place on the 16th (with lunch provided at PWC's Headquarters at 4612 Paddock Road), people are encouraged to sign up for any day in May that works for them. Groups will be matched with a project that fits their skills and preferences. Volunteers of all ages and skill levels can register as teams or individuals to help neighbors throughout the month of May. Individuals and small groups with home repair skills who feel comfortable taking ownership of a minor home repair project are encouraged to sign up.
