Instrument Drive- Music Matters Ohio/Activities Beyond the Classroom
Music Matters Ohio is collaborating with local nonprofit Activities Beyond the Classroom for the Cincinnati arm of their statewide instrument drive. On Saturday, May 30 from 9am-5pm, community
members are invited to bring new and gently used instruments to The School for Creative and Performing Arts, located at 108 W. Central Pkwy. Donations will benefit Cincinnati Public School students.
Instruments of all kinds that are in playable condition or can be repaired are accepted, from brass and strings to keyboards, percussion and more. All donations are tax-deductible, and they must be dropped off at The School for Creative and Performing Arts by 5pm on May 30.
Activities Beyond the Classroom is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing students with equitable access to opportunities within the arts, athletics and wellness. Music Matters focuses on putting instruments in the hands of students and distributing them to schools that need them most.
