Que4Care - Walk 4 ALS

Each year, MLB and the Cincinnati Reds honor ALS Patients with Lou Gehrig Day at the Ballpark on June 2nd. On this day we remember one of the greatest players in baseball history, Lou Gehrig. Lou Gehrig was the first high profile patient, stricken with ALS. Lou’s name would be forever remembered in association with ALS and is commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Smoke Justis has purchased a block of 400 tickets to this game and will sell them to those people who want to honor those who are currently battling ALS or those who have passed. All of these ticket purchasers are asked to meet outside of Smoke Justis to make a sign with the name of the person that they are honoring on this walk. Everyone will then begin the honor walk across the Roebling Bridge to the Ballpark for the Lou Gehrig game. Last year, this walk was impactful and we expect this year will be no different. Sit together for the cause and hold your sign high for those loved ones that have had to deal with this horrible disease.
