Love Bug Mug Workshop at Mighty Mud
In this workshop led by Bryan Wilkerson, we’ll take a simple wheel-thrown form and transform it into a whimsical character mug—perfect for your love bug, your best friend, or a little dose of self-love.
**Week 1 – February 3: Sculpting & Forming**
Altering a wheel thrown form into handbuilding to sculpt personality: adding handles, features, texture, and all the charm your character mug deserves. (Instructor will throw forms before class)
**Week 2 – February 10: Color & Surface Design**
Bring your creation to life with underglaze, color accents, and final glazing. This is where your character really develops its story and shine.
**Week 3 – February 17: Social & Showcase**
We’ll meet at Printshop, right next door to Mighty Mud, for a cozy hot chocolate + beer social. Artists are encouraged to bring a friend for the grand finale to show off our hard work and celebrate together!
