The Ludicrous Ladies: A Benefit Staged Reading Molière in the Park brings its celebration of classical theater to Manhattan for one night only with The Ludicrous Ladies, a benefit staged reading supporting free access to theater across New York City. Directed by Founding Executive Director Lucie Tiberghien, the evening features a staged reading of Molière’s witty satire on social ambition, fashion, and cultural aspiration.
The cast includes Anne-Sophie de Villeroy, Emmy Award-winner Michael Emerson (Lost, Person of Interest), and Lakisha Michele May (Blue Bloods, Law & Order: SVU). Hosted at The Explorers Club, the event includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a post-performance reception. All proceeds directly support Molière in the Park’s commitment to equitable artist pay and free, high-quality theater for all.
