This inspiring exhibition fills the gallery with nearly 240 striking images created by students representing 24 participating schools. Displayed in a professional gallery setting, these photographs reveal fresh perspectives, bold imagination, and the remarkable artistic voices emerging from our local classrooms. Through the Student Lens has become a cherished annual tradition—one that highlights the power of photography as a tool for observation, storytelling, and creative expression. Visitors will discover an energetic and diverse collection of work that reflects both the individuality of each student and the vibrant artistic spirit growing throughout our community. WROC-TV has signed on as media sponsor and will feature a digital gallery of photographs on RochesterFirst.com. From March 24th thru April 8, the public can vote for their favorite photo which will determine the #1 “Image Innovator” for 2026. For the 18th year, Image City Photography Gallery proudly opens its walls to more than 200 talented student photographers from Rochester and Monroe County.
