Great Decisions 2026
This discussion group focuses on U.S. foreign policy and international affairs. Topics and discussion materials are produced every year by the Foreign Policy Association. This year's topics are:
1. America and the World: Trump 2.0 Foreign Policy
2. Trump Tariffs and the Future of the World Economy
3. U.S.-China Relations
4. Ruptured Alliances and the Risk of Nuclear Proliferation
5. Ukraine and the Future of European Security
6. Multilateral Institutions in a Changing World Order
7. U.S. Engagement of Africa
8. The Future of Human Rights and International Law
Please note that registration is for the entire discussion series. There will be 8 group meetings every other week on Wednesday afternoons, starting on Feb. 11th and ending on May 20th.
Participants will need to purchase their own book through the Foreign Policy Association's website at https://fpa.org/bookstore/.
The cost is $35 per book.
One reference copy of the book will be available to read on-site at the Fairport Public Library.
