Travelogue: Croatia: Gems of the Adriatic Coast and Dalmatian Isles
Simply put, Croatia’s Adriatic coast is spectacular. We begin our tour on the Istrian Peninsula, visiting the Roman Amphitheatre at Pula and the charming Venetian inspired town of Rovinj. After briefly stopping inland to hike through the scenic wonder of Plitvice Lakes NP, we continue along the coast to Split with its famous Diocletian Palace. From Split we take ferries to explore the stunningly beautiful islands of Hvar and Korçula and finally make our way to Dubrovnik, Croatia’s Pearl of the Adriatic, where we walk its medieval wall and explore its UNESCO designated old town.
