Ron Carter Concert
Living legend and bassist Ron Carter, one of the most revered and prolific musicians anywhere, will give a concert in Rochester, NY, with his Foursight Quartet. Students from the ROCmusic program, which gives underserved students a chance to play, perform, and learn from excellent musicians, will be in attendance. The concert is being sponsored by both the Black Community Focus Fund, a 501c3, and Roc Juneteenth, which is in its 10th year of putting on events that honor and bring awareness to Juneteenth. Roc Juneteenth events also raise funds for BCFF. The Black Community Focus Fund serves some of the most needy families in Rochester. BCFF founders and leaders spearheaded the establishment of the Minister Franklin D. Florence Civil Rights Heritage Park in Baden Park. Find out more about this work by going to rochesterbcff.org.
