Historic Happy Hour at Hotel Flor - The Start of an Era
Hotel Flor is proud to announce the official launch of its centennial celebration series! Beginning this July, the hotel will host a six-month immersive campaign titled Historic Happy Hours, designed to transport guests through a century of glamour, grit, and grace. This historical odyssey will culminate in a grand New Year’s Eve gala, "A Century Uncorked," marking 100 years since the hotel first redefined hospitality in the heart of Tampa.
The celebration centers around a monthly themed event series hosted in The Dan every Friday. Each evening serves as a living time capsule, rotating through specific chapters of the hotel's storied past with period-appropriate live music from 7-10PM, a curated menu of vintage cocktails, specialty appetizers, and era matching décor. The journey commences July 3rd, 2026 with the debut theme, “The Start of an Era: Roaring in '27”. As the tallest building in Florida upon its completion, the hotel immediately became a symbol of the city's ambition. The July kickoff honors this debut season with live jazz music and signature offerings including "The Gilded Welcome" cocktail and "Gold Rush" deviled eggs. To heighten the immersive experience, guests who arrive dressed in costumes matching the evening's theme will receive a complimentary selection from The Dan's newly launched dessert menu!
The centennial series culminates on New Year's Eve with the grand finale, "A Century Uncorked." This New Year's Eve gala will activate the property with historic details and officially celebrate 100 years of the hotel's status as a local treasure.
