38th Annual Tarpon Springs Seafood Festival Returns November 7-8, 2026 Local Seafood, Live Music, Eating Contest, Chef Competition, Arts & Crafts, and More (TARPON SPRINGS, FL) – The Tarpon Springs Seafood Festival returns to the historic Sponge Docks (600 Hill Street) for an unforgettable weekend where the aroma of saltwater and fresh seafood mingles with the scent of spices. This premier coastal event is a celebration of all things seafood, featuring a curated selection of local and regional small businesses offering a treasure trove of fresh catches, handmade nautical arts, crafts, and other maritime goodies. Whether you're a die-hard seafood enthusiast, a landlubber, or simply seeking a fun-filled weekend with the family, the festival has boatloads of activities and entertainment to reel you in. Admission is free. The two-day event takes place Saturday, November 7 from 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday, November 8 from 10 am to 5 pm. Festival Highlights & Competitions • Stone Crab Eating Contest: You won’t want to miss the ultimate showdown at 3 pm on Sunday, November 8. Sponsored by Lockhart's Seafood, this fan-favorite contest requires an entry fee and pre-registration to participate. • 3rd Annual Master Chefs of the Sea Competition: Reel in the culinary excitement as Tampa Bay's best seafood dishes battle for bragging rights and 10 distinct awards—including Best Shellfish Sensation, Best Florida Fish Dish, Best “Other” Creation, Most Imaginative, Most Crave-able, and the coveted Grand Champion.
