Week 6: Spirit of the Forest
July 20-24
Age Range: 8-10 years
Campers explore the relationship between sculpture and nature as they dive into the mystical world of the forest. Inspired by the organic lines, creatures, and expressive figures found throughout the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden, students investigate how artists transform natural forms into three-dimensional art. This week encourages creativity, storytelling, and material exploration as campers discover the “spirit” hidden within the shapes of the natural world.
